Precautions / Tip To Keep In Mind Before Trekking

It is often said that trekking is possible for people who are extremely fit people. Well, we’re here to say that’s not completely true. We believe that everyone can trek, you just need to prepare yourself a little. Being on the safer side, we’re here to tell you certain precautions and things to keep in mind before you go for a trek.



So just sit back & read. And all your inhibitions will go away in no time!



  • Please ensure you are reasonably healthy and can walk upto 2 to 3 hours .


  • Always start with small treks / hiking experiences and gradually increase the distance and difficulty level of treks.


  • We highly encourage you to plan your trek so that you are not carrying your work stress with you . thought it shall help you to destress but it may affect your trekking experience.



  • We recommend to abstain from alcohol at least 48 hours before the trek. This is extremely important since alcohol dehydrates the body and may exhaust you more.


  • Deciding on your trekking partner as your trekking guide and trekking leader shall play a critical rule when comes to unplanned situations e.g bad weather or critical condition.


  • It helps you to get your hiking / trekking skills assessed by expert so that you can be guided to the right treks and can be trained as needed.
